Day 20: Arthur's Seat
We went to Arthur's Seat. Not his real seat, the hike in Scotland that's called Arthur's Seat. It was long. Counting our breaks, it took about two and a half hours, also counting walking from our house and back. It was tiring but fun; you got to climb on rocks a lot. Your legs will be tired once you finish.
That was our last dayof this trip! See you next time!
Day 19: Bus, Bus, Bus
Today was our bus tour! It's not like a city bus, it's a bus that gives you headphones so you can listen to some things about the town. It took you to lots of tourist stops like the castle and the museum. We did a round of it and we started getting off at stops we liked. They had a kid talk about lots of stories and some funny jokes. Like an example, one about the museum. This is what they said in the kids tour: This museum is free. It has lots of good food for you to eat there like ice cream, cotton candy, and cookies! It was just a funny joke because those things aren't actually good for you.
On the tour buses, they were double deckers!!! Then, later that day, we took another double decker bus around.

Day 18: The Walking Day
Our first full day in Edinburgh, we did a lot of walking. We went and explored the town. Some of the things we saw were: where the author made the Harry Potter books, the Hogwarts school, the real Diagon Alley and some other things that weren't too exciting.
We walked up and down the streets then something exciting happened when coming back! I rode a double decker bus for the first time! It was so fun! We sat at the very front and looked at the views. It was aaaaaaawesome.
Days 9-15: Swansea
This is Swansea! I had fun in Swansea! Swansea was soooooooooooo fun and beautiful! I
would recommend it!!!! It was nice, there were nice beaches!
I had lots of fun and that's why there are a lot of pictures here. All of these pictures were things that I had fun doing.
We went to Swansea Bay beach and I built a big sand train! It was one you could sit it. It also had a sleeping spot and a sitting spot. Four spots were facing backwards and four were facing forward. We made beds that faced backwards. My dad built a steam engine oven for coal. My dad and I were the conductors and my mom was the passenger. Since we needed coal to run the train, instead of coal, we used shells! For the tickets, you would give a shell so you would have enough stuff to make through the ride.
We went to Rhosilli and saw wild horses. One of them ran at me but luckily one of my cousins told me what to do if a horse runs at you. If I hadn't known that, I might have gotten knocked! My Dad didn't know but luckily he moved behind me. What you should do is put your hands up and stand still so they know where you are.
We went to Three Cliffs Bay another day. It was beautiful! We didn't see any wild horses. We saw animals that we thought were wild horses but they were cows and they ran at me! I was stuck between my aunt and my mom so I ran to my mom and I was so close to getting hit.

Day 7: BIG
It is going to be a BiG day! We are going to be going to sooooooo meny plases.
Frst we went to the Giant's Causeway.
Giant's Causeway |
Our next stop was the rope bridge. It was a small rope bridge. At first, when I looked at the pictures, it looked really long so I didn't want to go. But, when we went, it was so fun, I wanted to go a thousand million times more, or even more than that.
Finally, for our second last stop, we went to the ferry. We took the ferry to an island and took a bus to the bird sanctuary. We looked and looked for puffins. We SAW PUFFINS!!!! We saw other birds, too. I got an activity sheet to find birds and I found them all. They even asked me, whatever birds did you see and I said, "sparrows." I don't know if you have sparrows where you are.
Then, we went to the upside-down lighthouse. We got to see where a lighthouse keeper's bedroom was and what it would look like and some of his hobbies because it showed the last lighthouse keepers hobbies. We got to see the light that goes around becasue it is still a lighthouse but we couldn't go inside. Then, we got to see what underwater for the birds looks like and that's really all!
The last but not least stop was the caaaastle! The castle wasn't open becauase it was closed but we got to go to a viewpoint where we could look down at the castle and that was cool. So we thought to come back tomorrow so we could go in it.
Back at our home, they have a tire swing!
Day 4: Our Big Driving Day

Day 3: Splash Flash
This is Day Two. Tomorrow, we are going to be going on our next big road trip and we will go to a new place. But that's not today so I'm going to talk about today. Today, we are going on a boat ride to see the cliffs. Yesterday, we walked on them and now we will see the cliffs we just walked on. I'm really excited because when we went to Costa Rica, we went whale watching and it's going to be like that except we are cliff watching. I'm excited to look at the cliffs and see where we were yesterday and get the feeling of being on a boat again. I had a grate time! It wus fun!
These are the Cliffs of Moher from the boat |
Day 2: Cliffs of Moher
The cliffs were beautiful to see from the staircase. It was nice seeing the ocean up close and seeing the cliffs. We saw some ferries and some islands. It was amazing to see how far down the water was. It was cool seeing the windy cliffs. I felt scared before seeing the cliffs because I thought we'd be at the edge but there was a fence and some grass so it was safe. It was such an amazing experience; you should go there sometime. I can't wait for tomorrow when we go on a boat to see them!

We Are Here!
We are here, we are here! We had a good flight. It was ok but I don't like night flights. I slept for a little bit. One tip I have is to listen to a podcast or audiobook to help you fall asleep. I listened to Zoey and Sassafras. You might find that this helps you, too.
When we got to Dublin, we got takeout from a yummy restaurant. I had a burger, sweet potato fries, and spring rolls. We ate them in a playground.
Then, we drove to Doolin. It was a four hour drive. My mom and I slept a bit in the car. The roads were very swervy and skinny. Doolin is rainy and verrrry windy. We can see the ocean and the Cliffs of Moher.
We Are There
We are there at last! We are at the plane ride. I am tired but I am still excited. I am SOOOO sooo excited! It will be so much fun. If you have a child, you know chores are hard to do. So me and my family do something in our house. We do: if I clean my room and do something in the house, then I get my t.v. So, when we are travelling, I help with dishes, making beds, and packing. So those are some things that may be useful.
Leaving!
We are going on the plane tomorrow! I can't wait. This is a picture of the airport. I just can't wait for tomorrow. I also can't wait to see my family. I will see you next time and I will post more pages. See you next time!
