High-Five Adventures: Adventure Girl: Costa Rica

Days 1 and 2

Hi People it's adventure girl we arrived safely in Costa Rica! It was dark! In the morning we heard Howler monkeys! We didn't see them. we went to the beach we swam. there was a restaurant i got a smoothie it looked like this (put picture here)

My flavor was strawberry and banana, which you can see in the picture. My dad's was pineapple and passion fruit. My mom's flavor was Piña colada!

I hope you're all liking my adventures so far. Even if you're someone I don't know, or you don't know me. Or I've never seen you and you've never seen me but we know about each other. As a reminder, I love sharing my adventures with you. I hope you like reading them.

Hi Friends haw is it? Good? good! I sat outside the Birds were singing and each time a car wint by the Howler monkeys would howl their heads off!

The Long Day: Day 6

One of our biggest days was the driving day...the longest we would have drived for this trip. The driving day was very long. It was eight and a half hours, including the stops.

Our first stop was at McDonald's. Not McDonald's the farm, McDonald's the restaurant. We got a burger or two. The next stop was lunch at the White Horse. It was the yummiest! I, Adventure Girl, got some lovely ribs with barbeque sauce on them.

During the drive, I did a sticker book, a Chirp magazine, I drawed, and I listened to Chester's Book Club. We saw crocodiles during the drive.

When we got here, we pulled on our bathing suits and dove into the pool! We had a great time. From the pool, we saw.... a toucan and hummingbirds!

The next morning, for breakfast, we made pancakes. Of course, we ate them. I spotted some squirrel monkeys. They were running and sommersaulting and jumping off of trees! We ate breakfast outside watching the monkeys. Then, we got our bathing suits on and went to the pool again. I dove in and then me and my mom played swimming class and we took turns being the teacher and the kid. I practiced some things for my swimming class that I'll do when I get back home.

Then, after we went swimming, we went to go and do a hike. On the hike, we saw a rainbow lizard and a brown lizard. There were also pools at the end of the hike made out of waterfalls. There were bridges and the last one was very wobbly. I felt TERRIFIED!!!

When we got home, we ate lunch. We had a picnic and had hot dogs. Then, we went for a long swim. It was the second time in the swimming pool today and the third time going swimming today! Then, I helped do the dishes and cleaned up the floor and then I got to watch 25 minutes of t.v. Then, we had dinner, and now my mom and I are writing the blog!
